On Determining the Best Tablet PC

By Thomas Tolston

As consumers working their way down the line of just which the best tablet PC, or personal computer, really is, odds are there's not much more to look at once you hit the forces of Apple's superlative iPad creation. It's honestly a chore to look away from such a technological marvel when your concentration fixes upon tablet PCs. The roaring sales and growing market certainly think so too.

It's true that, again, being consumers, we're supposed to look after finding the best deal for our band accounts. However, given the only slight difference in price, and the magnitude in difference of quality with the iPad, it's hard to be swayed elsewhere.

A quick and unique example about the iPad is its variety of features. It boasts technological abilities that surpass its counterparts simply because it's been concentrating on working out the kinks for a longer period of time, and, believe me, it's paid off.

Highlighting some of the exciting possibilities, we have: stargazing where it locates constellations, writing by hand where it isolates your text and converts it, texting, video chatting, and easy access to the multitude of applications created and updated all day.

However, what does it mean by "applications?"

Applications are essentially programs you download from the Apple store's main website, which supply you with a world of fun resources. There are apps that locate movie time, that dub your voice over your favorite artist, apps that check weather, or offer recipes and games galore. The best part is, if you think of an app you'd like to see, you can claim the idea through Apple, make it, and upload it to the website yourself!

However, what does it cost to download all these apps? Certainly no one wants to cave in and make such a financial contribution only to be told there are hidden costs for making their tablet all the better.

buying the tablet. At most an app will cost you three dollars, but once its yours its yours, no upkeep involved, it keeps itself upgrading. Additionally, many of the apps are free, and will be advertised to you as such through Apple emails!

Additionally, Apple's operating system has been a longstanding tradition of virus-free activity. It was a goal made long ago in its founding stages after seeing the bugs infiltrated in Windows systems. Jumping on that, the CEO of Apple and co-founder Steve Jobs has recently taken a sabbatical from his company creating a drop in stock prices. But, as he has been their foreseeing leader, he's left Apple in equally reliable hands that will continue their mission against viruses hurting your new tablet PC.

To end there, it should be all too clear what the right decision may be when choosing the best tablet PC on the market today. If you want a product of the future with a virus-free work ethic, then go ahead and look no further than Apple's iPad.
