Diablo 3 Barbarian Abilities

By Jassper Jenkins

Among the different classes featured on Diablo III, the Barbarian is the only one that came from the previous versions of Diablo games. This class also happens to be a favorite among players. Barbarians are known to specialize in close-range combat, with power solely relying on sheer brute force. If there is one thing that you can depend on when choosing to play this class, it is the fact that nothing can stand in your way.

As savage wanderers, Barbarians are known not to flinch or shy away from close quarter combats. Due to their sheer strength and size, barbarians are able to dominate a combat using almost any combination of approaches and weapons. Unlike other opponents, barbarians are also known to fare better in dealing with the pain and damage of battle.

Upon reaching Level 8, you will be able to unlock Leap. You deliver 85% weapon damage to any enemy within 8 yards when you leap or jump into the air. You will get a 10-second cool down when 15 fury is generated.

Enemies movement speeds will slow by 60% for 3 seconds. You can only produce Fury when you're able to hit an enemy.

Frenzy allows you to produce 3 Fury for every attack, with a required recharge of 10 seconds. You will be able to unlock this particular skill upon reaching Level 11. With Frenzy, every swing will help you inflict 185% weapon destruction as well as slowing down the movement of the enemy by 60% for several seconds.

Using Whirlwind will require you to expend 16 Fury for every second. A skill that can be unlocked at Level 20, wherein you will have the ability to carry out several assaults on everything that is within your path, inflicting a weapon destruction of 110%.

Using the power of Ignore Pain will give you the ability to significantly reduce all injury suffered by up to 65% for 5 seconds with a required recharge of 30 seconds. This skill can be unlocked at Level 22.

Wrath of the Beserker is a power that will increase your skills with many powers over a time span of 15 seconds. With Beserker you gain in Critical Hit by 10%, Attack Speed by 25%, Dodge Chance by 20%, and Movement Speed by 20%. Using this expends 50 Fury and also has a cool down of 120 seconds.

For many reasons Barbarians are preferred with most Diablo players. All of their skills will give you the upper hand in battles when used strategically.
