Avoid Withdrawals and Bring Your iPhone Charger With You

By Michelle Knuth

I finally got an iPhone and discovered what else I could be addicted to. My phone was taking up all of my time. Anti social label here I come! But everyone seems to be anti social as well because everyone else is on their phones. The world is being consumed by smartphones! But I digress; I'm here to tell you that you should always carry an iPhone charger with you. The phones are supposed to last, but the battery can drain before your eyes without you even noticing.

That is the one flaw with smartphones, they don't last more than one day. If you plan on using your phone a lot, then you better bring your charger with you. Once my phone dies, I feel lost. Is that sad?

I had gotten myself a job! The only problem was that the office was twenty minutes from my house. This means I can't just run home if I forgot something. I soon realized commuting to work may not have been the best choice. This wasn't even a long commute and I didn't like it. I really didn't like it when my phone died!

I was running around the office asking everyone if they had an iPhone charger. Not one person had one. Were they crazy?! The one day I forgot my charger at home, no one had one I could borrow. I could see the writing on the walls already. It was one of the longest days of work. I had a computer, but it wasn't enough. What if someone had to contact me? What if I wanted to take a picture?

I felt so lost and disconnected with the world. This made it clear that I am addicted to my phone. We all are, don't try to deny it. There are few people left who can go a day without their phone. If you think you are one of them, then try it. I bet you won't be able to last. I can admit when I have an addiction, can you?
