By Kate Green

HTC's market share has quietly accounted for 14% of the smart phone market, having exceeded RIM, similar to Nokia's market share. HTC also expects the company's smart phone shipments this year will be more than 48 million units.

If you still stubbornly believe that the current global smart phone market is still the hutch hegemony situation between Apple and Samsung, then you have to update the database.

As the third force after the two major smart phone manufacturers Apple and Samsung, HTC has launched a series of new smart phones including ThunderBolt 4G, Amaze and Vivid. These products will make higher speed as a selling point in this year's Christmas shopping season to conquer more and more discerning consumers. The growth rate of HTC's stock price will be the fastest within the industry.

Although HTC (http://www.usb-peripheral.com/) does not have Apple's strong brand or Samsung's manufacturing advantages, in the global smart phone market, it is not competitor that can be easily conquered. The analyst said that it is difficult to think HTC television as a loser in the smart phone market. Although the size of HTC is not as big as Apple or Samsung, however, it has a set of top smart phone portfolio. Now in addition to HTC, it is very difficult to find a good smart phone manufacturer in the world in addition to Apple and Samsung.

In this year's third quarter, the global HTC smart phone shipments reached 13.2 million units. Samsung's are 28.5 million units and Apple's are 17.1 million units. HTC's smart phone shipments in the third quarter had an increase of a staggering 97%, while Apple's iPhone is only 21%. HTC also expects the company's fourth quarter smart phone shipments may reach 13 million units and its annual smart phone shipments may be more than 48 million units.

Though Apple and Samsung are powerful, but they are lack of control in certain markets such as the high-speed 4G smart phone market. But HTC is competing against Apple and Samsung by virtue of competitive differentiation. The maximum speed of the next-generation 4G network is nearly 10 times of the speed of 3G.
