Persuasive new billboard advertising by Search Engine Banners is a tour de force.

Search Engine Banners, one of the world's foremost advertising, billboard and media company, today announced the acquisition of Legate Licensing Company (CL), trademark licensing agency in the United States. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Legate is a total-maintenance licensing and marketing company that assists with a wide array of licensing and administration services, helping to protect, develop and manage brands in the $2 billion merchandise marketplace.

Under the agreement, LLC will operate as a stand alone unit within Search Engine Banners,overseen by Group President, Jona Spoone. LL founder and Chairman, Robert Governor, will continue to lead the company he founded.

In making the announcement, Frances Wrightwood Chairman and CEO, said, "This acquisition provides Search Engine Banners and LL's clients with a significant new opportunity for growth. The combination of Search Engine Banners expertise and resources will not only allow LL to continue its leadership position in licensing, but more importantly, to grow into other areas of online banner marketing as well."
