The Number One First Timer's Help Guide To The Latest Installment Of "World Of Warcraft"

By Lonnie MacHen

In World of Warcraft, the introduction of a new race always brings with it a brand new starting area that isn't only their homeland, but is generally filled up with quests which have been meticulously picked to fit the new race. These quests are meant not just to help you attain level 10 in a short period of time, but to help you find out more about your brand-new character.

In all the previous development packs, each faction was given its very own new race. For instance in Cataclysm we had Worgens for the Alliance and Goblins for the Horde. Concurrently there were two different faction based starting areas. In Mists of Pandaria a completely new idea has been introduced, you should full all of the starting area quests before you choose which faction your Monk will join.

You start by recruiting a team of elemental spirits and also taking them along with you to the temple in the center of the beginning area. This area harkens to the looks of ancient China, as you will journey through lush bamboo jungles, past astonishingly stunning temples and huge farm lands. After you have recruited your spirits you'll take a hot air balloon trip in order to meet the turtle that thinks he has a thorn in his side.

What you're planning to locate instead is that it is a crashed airship that you need to remove by blasting it out. You'll execute a series of simple adventures in your exploration, that will end in your blasting the airship out of the turtle's side, leaving a gaping wound. This is the set up to the last stage of your time in the starting area as you must now recruit healers to repair the gaping wound you produced in the side of the turtle. As you hire them, your task is to defend them from a limitless series of enemies when they utilize their magic to heal the terribly wounded turtle.

Once you have been successful in curing the turtle, you will journey returning to the temple in the center of the zone. Once you reach the temple, you should choose which faction you'll join. At this point you will be dropped into a hot air balloon and also taken off to the right main city where you will continue questing and leveling until you arrive at level 85 at which point you will go back to Pandaria to complete levels 85-90.
