Tips on how to create a passive income niche website in thirty minutes.

By Jon Clarkson

Perhaps you have thought or been contemplating starting a website to make more money? One of the biggest lessons I've learned by creating websites for people is usually that many people just don't know where to begin or are scared to death about many of the technical aspects involved. So the majority of people throw in the towel before they even get started. Even though we make turnkey niche websites for people to get started quickly, I wanted to share how one can generate an internet marketing or niche website in 30 minutes or less.

Step 1: Deciding on a Domain Name: * Determining the domain name or web address of your niche website should be thought about first and dependent upon the niche you would like. The domain name ought to have the keyword or keywords of the niche. For instance, you've chosen Fishing as your niche, so therefore you may select something like FishingTipsAndTricks.com as your domain name. When you have made your selection you must register your domain name using a registrar like Name.com or GoDaddy. Sometimes hosting providers have this service as well.

Step 2: Find a Hosting Provider: In the case of finding a hosting provider for your passive income niche website, the choices are almost endless. It is not a hard task but it may be a tedious one browsing through all the choices offered. A sensible way to look for a quality web host is to be sure that they have competitive prices, WordPress support (preferably 1-click install so there won't be any technical skills needed) and superb support. Some examples of those would definitely be HostGator, BlueHost and DreamHost.

Step 3: Installing WordPress: WordPress is one of the least difficult content management systems available and it's supported with thousands of plugins to accomplish just about anything. WordPress is fairly easy to install on any server that supports PHP 4.3 or higher and MySQL 4.0 or higher. However, by having a 1-click install interface will certainly make it dead simple. This way virtually anybody can be up and running in just a few minutes. Based on the hosting provider, just follow the steps supplied by them and you should be able to deploy WordPress in about 5 minutes.

Step 4: Setting up Your Website: * Now that you have WordPress installed, you will probably want to replace the default look of your website. There are thousands of free and paid themes designed for WordPress. You can do a search in Google for WordPress themes to find one which suits your preferences. Once you find the theme you prefer, you must download the zip file. Installing the Theme To install any theme on WordPress is pretty simple. Log into your website's administrator panel and click on the Appearance menu item on the left hand side. On the next page, click the tab at the top labeled * Install Themes. * Then under that click on the Upload link. At this point you'll be able to Browse to pick the theme's zip file and click Install Now to upload and install it to your site. If it's not currently activated, with the Manage Themes tab you should activate it by clicking Activate. * Installing Plugins * Including more functionality or features to your website is easy too. The chances are a plugin is built that may well actually do what you're looking for. Searching for and installing plugins is snap by clicking on Plugins then Add New on the left hand side menu. These are some plugins I like to recommend adding on any kind of new niche website. Don't forget, the key should be to keep your niche website simple, so try to keep the amount of plugins installed to a few. Every one of them are accessible via the WordPress plugin dashboard. * All-In-One SEO Essential for SEO and easy to use. * Contact Form 7 The easiest way to add a contact form to your blog. * TubePress Easily integrate YouTube Videos in your website. * Google Analytics for WordPress Easily integrate your Google Analytics account on your new site * Google XML Sitemaps This plugin generates a sitemap for your website and also updates it when changes are made. * Quick Adsense Easily insert Google Adsense into pages and/or posts. Great for passive income.

Step 5: Build Your Content: Now that you've got your website installed and configured, the last thing is to get it filled with content. Making articles centered around your niche keywords will help to generate search engine traffic as time goes on. You'll also really need to populate it with affiliate programs and/or products related to your niche. Programs for instance ClickBank, Amazon or individual affiliate programs can be used. Our recommendation is that you try to incorporate the affiliate programs/products into the articles too and you'll be on the way to generating passive income with your niche website.
