Diablo 3 Review

By Steven Clayden

Needless to say, a lot of gamers are excited about the new and upcoming game, Diablo 3. Along with Warcraft and Starcraft, Diablo is one of the most popular game series owned and managed by Blizzard. So given its popularity, you can easily find any kind of review that you like on the internet.

The game itself takes place in the fictional world of Sanctuary, and is set 20 years after the events which transpired in Diablo 2. The world of Sanctuary is currently under attack from demons of the Burning Hells. It is in this conflict that the player will take on the role of his or her character and endeavor to stop the demonic invasion from coming into fruition.

There are number of enhancements to the gameplay that will have fans drooling. Enemies can ambush you when you least expect it and the scenery has become interactive. Bridge, walls rocks can all be manipulated and some objects improve your abilities.

Concerns have been raised over these new features, some players feel that this may over complicate the game, where others see it as a major improvement on the previous games ,however the overall rating is very good and still retains some of the elements liked in Diablo 2.

The game has a lot to offer and should meet the expectations of those who have waited 10 years for this release. Blizzard have done a very good job in trying to keep up with the likes of Elder Scrolls V and fans will enjoy playing the game and will soon get to grips with the new features and brooding storyline.

It is good to see that it retains previous features from previous games such as choosing character classes and skill sets. Characters will be able to utilize different equipment and weapons, like the barbarian who is a close attack specialist or if you prefer range attacking characters, then the wizard suits this style.

You will also cross paths with many characters such as craftsman to improve your weapons and followers to help you out on your quests. These additions and enhancements will put Diablo 3 into the classic game bracket.

Just before we finish this review, there are two important things to remember. Battlenet and Auction House. These features allow the players to play online with other players as well as buy and sell items for in-game currency and real money.
