How to Correct iPad Wi-Fi Connection Problems

By Dmitry Vasenyov

These days, one of the most common complaints about Apple iPad seems to be different problems with Wi-Fi connection. Frankly speaking, these problems could include a complete lack if Wi-Fi connection, weak signal, dropped signal as well as varying degrees of speed once connected. Below there are some of the tips that could help you resolve some of these Wi-Fi connection problems:

- Make sure that Wi-Fi signal is available

Even if this could seem as an obvious thing, the users should check whether there is any available Wi-Fi network in the area. And so you need to go to settings, Wi-Fi and check for the list of available networks. If you see no list, then there could be no coverage in the area. Besides, bear in mind that private networks may not show up at all while other Wi-Fi locations could require password access. If the latest is your case, then you need to enter this password through settings, Wi-Fi, other before you try to connect.

- Try to move to other position

It can be possible that you are not close enough to the hotspot hub or may not have a clear line of sight. And so the user has to shift position. Perfectly it is necessary to move closer to the hub or to avoid obstructions. This can seem obvious, but even a small difference in distance could make a great difference.

- Check hotspot connection

The other thing that could seem obvious, however the user has to check that the hub is switched on. Make sure that all cables are well-connected. If there is a need, try turning it off and restarting.

- Check the settings

In public locations, several networks with various names could be in the same location. And so users need to make sure that they are trying to connect to the right one. This is necessary since one location could offer both public networks and private ones with similar names.
